What gender is my 12 week old RIR

I have 2 rhode island reds and they are both 12 weeks old but one seems to look like a roo I cant tell
The first image is the one Im wondering about and the 2nd picture is another RIR i have the seem to have 2 different crown sizes

The first bird is a cockerel, and the second may also be a cockerel. Really need a profile picture of the second for gender ID.

I agree with @sourland the first one looks to be a cockerel. The second one might be, but it's hard to tell from the photo.

The first one is definitely a male, the second one is too probably.
