Hi all!
So, I've never been this confused in all my life. We got some chicks from TSC and one of which was a Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam. Single Combed. It looks like an obvious rooster, right? We feather sexed it when we got it and it was a hen. But, the plumage. I known nothing about this breed and I am so lost! The feather sexing and plumage says hen, but the comb and waddles say rooster! What is it? This chick is only 5 weeks old. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Cockerel. Not all chicks can be feather sexed, it is a trait that must be bred for and from my understanding it is very particular hybrid birds that can be feather sexed. Your chick also has juvenile plumage right now, you won't see the adult coloration for a while yet.

@AltonaAcres and @annageckos Thanks so much! I am no longer confused thanks to you both. :)
We will most likely keep him since he is a sweet heart and we have the room. It will just be a little crowed in the Bantam shack. ;) Still more space than recommended for them though, so they will be fine.
