What gender?!

I have had these 2 chicks for 5 or so weeks, we had them from eggs and I have no idea what breed they are of of they are even a breed. They are the first chicks I have had, any help would be appreciated. Could anyone tell me what gender they are?

Well, first of all, they are Red Sex Links. Which means, you can tell the gender by color. If they are mostly red, pullet. If they are mostly light colored, maybe a little red, cockerel.

Ok so looking at the pictures would you say that they were pullets or not?

Definitely pullet for the darker one. The other's face says pullet, but color says otherwise. For right now, I'd say both are pullets.
