Sorry forgot to say they are roughly 5 weeks old. Rest of the photos didn't upload. Here goes again.

The white ones and red one look like pullets, but I'm leaning towards cockerel for the mostly-black (the pattern is called "silver laced") one. Still a little young to tell for sure, though.

Your Silver Laced Wyandotte (the mostly black one) is looking a bit like a cockerel. But, the others are likely pullets.

Thanks guys, I was thinking the same, but not very experienced, the silver laced one is quite skittish as well. My hubby will not be happy. Also one of the Sussex types has quite a pronounced comb and the bravest out of the lot? Will try get a clearer picture of her/ him later. Can't really have 2 cockerels as only have 7 altogether. The guy I bought them off said he was reasonably sure they were all hens. More fool me :)

Soooo one of the kids dropped something on the ground and out. Of the four one of our light Sussex types stood up straight and raised all the feathers on neck and back and flapped his wings. From what I've read on other posts that seems to be a room behaviour. Is that true? Updated photos @ 6 weeks

Definitely bigger than the other light Sussex. Still thinking your right about the slw being a roo, but much more friendly now

Any more guesses. 2 weeks on now, they're 8 weeks old. Some more pics for you.
