What got my favorite rooster?

hello all. I am new to the site but I am always looking on here for info. I had my favorite rooster get attacked today and can’t figure out what it was. It was daylight and I just came out right after but never seen a hawk or anything. Can you give me suggestions?

Wow i'm sorry about what happened to your rooster. Recently I had a snake attack and kill one of my new chicks but it didn't eat it, it just spat it out.
Is there any cats in you area cause that might be a possibility. or do you have other roosters maybe they could of had a fight. or if your in America what's the chance a raccoon or another small mammal got to it?

There is one cat but the it was always afraid of the chickens, they would run it off. I seen a hawk yesterday try to get one but it missed and never seen it today. I do have 2 other roosters but they all get along. I have about 35 other hens with them. I was real suspicious about the hawk but never seen it all day.

Looks like a raptor. What type of predators do you have?

It’s Ohio so quite a few. I thought also could be a weasel or mink

Well I've done some research and it could possible be a mink or weasel.
cause these attacks look similar to the attack on your rooster. I just google mink and weasel attacks' that's how I got these.
