I tried to rescue some eggs I found thrown in the water. Only one started developing, and it got all the way to day 24 without a problem. Then day 25 it seemed to stop moving and I could no longer see veins. I left her, hoping she would hatch. Today was day 29 and still nothing, so I carefully opened her up. As you can see by the picture she didn't make it. I am crushed, But is it normal for a duck to have such a large yolk sac? It's almost bigger than her.
