What happened? What is this?

Two days ago, my baby chick was walking fine with his siblings, after just several hours away from them (free rangers) I came back to see that 1 of them couldn't stand up again?
1 day later, his foot colour turned to blueish greenish on both feet?
What happened to him? His bones and body feels just fine?

What caused this? And will she walk again?

Bruising? What is that scab on the foot in first picture? Got tangled in a fence maybe?? I dunno, could be a mineral deficiency that is causing extremely brittle limbs.

My first thought was gangrene from an infection. But I don't think it's set in that fast.

do you have something down to soften they land when they jump down from roost?
I would look around also where they free range for something that could be bleeding paint or other colorant

I wouldn't think it'd set in that fast. Could it be a stain? Could he have gotten into something?
