Hi! My swedes and blue-splash Marian eggs have been in the incubator and yesterday quite a few of the eggs were wiggling and moving around. Well, it's morning, and I haven't heard any popping or chirping. My question: what should I be waiting for next? What should I be seeing? What should I be hearing? Could they be in distress? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I meant pipping! Not popping! Got to love spell check! O my goodness! A popping egg! Lol:lol:

Today is day 21 for me. I checked mine this morning around 6:30 and one of 30 was just starting to pip. Glad I have to work today, otherwise, I'd be glued to the incubator. Mine were wiggling a lot yesterday. Good Luck to you!

what day are they on??

To be honest Matt, I haven't the slightest. I got them from my mom who couldn't handle the stress of incubation anymore. She has a big farm that takes up a lot of her time....so anyways, she would just throw eggs in daily after she was done gathering them up. So basically I have no clue. Honestly I feel lucky that they made it this far. Not only were they in a different incubator, they also weathered a road trip. So basically I am glued to the incubator, looking and listening!

lol....well, if they made it through all that, they should be able to chip out of a shell....
Sounds like your hatching may go for a while if they have been added over a period of time.
Good Luck and post pics when they do.
