(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
• We do not have them yet, however looking into the option for where we live.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
• Eggs, pets, caring for animals
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
• Gardening, Skateboarding, work (artist/illustrator)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
• Have 5 children total, 3 still living at home, 2 married, 1 granddaughter!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
• Google search brought me to the website where I was hoping to find specific info for keeping chickens based on my zip code. Still looking. I live in Sunrise Manor which is in the unincorporated county on the edge of the City of Las Vegas. It's hard to find the code restrictions/allowances for my specific area.
I look forward to learning from others in this community regarding the challenges and joys of raising chickens.
