What happens when 2 hens sit on the same eggs????

A friend of mine has to broody bens sitting in the same nesting box on 7 eggs. This has been going on for almost a week. What will happen when the eggs hatch?

I think I would try to gather up some fertile eggs and move them both maybe split the bedding in the set nest

They will mother together. My Jap Banties did this and it worked out great for them

they will most likely share the hatch , i have some silkies do the same thing they share the work

That's so awesome!!! If only human mothers could do this without being looked at weird!!! How nice would it be to split the mother duties??? LOL

When he tried to seperate them they put up a fight so he left them alone. Guess we will see what happens.
