My husband signed our kids up for the 4H poultry club and we received 20 chicks between my 4 oldest kids. With the quarantine we aren’t having meetings. We checked with my husbandā€˜s friend that runs the club about the breed and we have to figure out what kind of pullets we have, they call it pullet surprise 😳. After 3 hours I’m still confused. We have several turkens , and those are easy to figure out, and are about 75% sure we have 4 New Hampshire Reds. The other 3 breeds I’m clueless on because some of the features match up and others don’t. None of these 3 breeds have feathers on their feet.
1- first picture is mostly yellow with grey and white, but darkgrey spots on top of the otherā€˜s heads and sides
2- pretty much all shades of grey with no distinct markings except some yellow on their bellies
3- dark brown with light and dark brown marking throughout. She looks black but its just the picture

Ask me any questions and I can give specifics!

Ok, so my gueses would be,
1. Columbian wyandotte, she will have white and black feathering with a rose comb.
2. Gersey giant, grey variety, grey color with a straight comb.
3. Partridge rock, straight comb with penciled feathering

Its entirely possible that all three could also be americans, that can look like anything.
What hatchery did they come from? Sometimes that can be a clue.
Congrats!
Healthy looking chicks

I do know they came from Privett Hatchery and are 2 weeks old!

Agree with 1 being a columbian Wyandotte and 3 being a partridge Rock. I think number 2 may be a blue Australorp.

I couldn’t agree more!
Those chicks are adorable and it looks like 1 is a Colombinan Wyandotte (super pretty bird), 2 is blue australorp (one of my favs) and 3 at first I thought could’ve been a barnevelder because one of mine looked similar but the feathers patterns look more like a rocks (partridge).
Hope those lil gals grow up nice, happy and healthy!
