what if someone doesn't send you something?

Ok--I am carefully not mentioning any names. I sent for something, not a large amount of money, but some. This person does not do paypal, and I thought I wouldn't put him to the trouble of cashing a check (I guess I am pretty trusting or something), so I have no real proof. I sent cash in an envelope.

But I did send him the money, and he did get it, because he responded.

And I never got--what I sent for.

How should I handle this? It isn't a huge amount of money, as I said, but at the same time, it doesn't seem fair to the other members of the forum to not put up bad feedback or something.

I have never given bad feedback ever, even when I thought it was called for, because I always think, what if the person is going through a personal tragedy or something. But perhaps I should.

Feed back is the only way to protect others.. I have had a few folks try to get me to send money orders and just cant in good consciuos do it.. I would tell teh person that if they dont make it right then you will post neagtive feedback.. Period.. Good luck

You sure he has your right address? That's happened to me before (not on this forum,) the guy sent my stuff to the wrong address lol, he was off by one number. Just thinking. If not and you're sure about it, then post feedback. Oh, and never send cash through the mail, always keep records lol.

Besides, it sounds kind of strange that he'd admit he got the money and then not send something... You'd think if he was going to play that game he'd just say he never received it. Anyhow, good luck!

I would definitely let him know that if he does not send your items that you will post negative feed back. It's not right wether you sent cash or paid by paypal, he should send the purchased items.

I think he has my right address, and even if he didn't we are a very small town and the PO knows me.

Also, I wrote to him and asked him what had happened, and got no reply.

It is very discouraging. Most of the people on this forum are so dependable.

I do not think I will ever get anything that doesn't take Paypal again, either.
