I did a bad thing. I stopped by the feed store and TAADAA a few chicks that looked SO CUTE and a few ducks, AND turkeys.... I just got the chicks for today, going to get Ducks on Monday / Payday. I now need to know what the randoms out of the feed store bin, are they all BA's? I have no idea. I'm posting pictures of the feed store chicks, and I'm almost positive number two is a cockeral he was the first to food is already showing his girls around and was pushing my runt chick [Ducky, that's in there with them] around because they, at a week old, are as big as she is at five weeks.

They all have black wings with a white line on the bottom, their legs are black and their toes are pink. For the most part their beaks are black, with some white splashing on there. They said they were some type or 'Lorp soundin' bird. Red, why don't you get one?' So I got five... All but one have tail feathers coming in, and that's the little roo. I'm fixing up a bigger brooder right now, so they wont ALL be in that milk crate tonight.

This is all the little guys in the box on the way home. Find the ROO!

This is the little guys, Bovine the newborn [hatched Wednesday] and Ducky the five week old runt of a neighbors Leghorn and Piggy. She should be pretty.

Number One: Pullet?

Number Two: Roo. Almost 100% positive

Number Three: Pullet?

Number Four: Pullet.

Number Five: Pullet

I asked the owner of the feed store/Mayor of my little bitty town and he said they were BA's. That's what I thought, just figured I'd update... I'm going to get his remaining chicks because they're in with turkeys, I think I saw about 20 little guys left. I'll just re-use this board if I need to figure out roo or pullet in their future. I'm still pretty sure #2 is a Roo, his new name is Action Jackson

That's cool be sure to post pics when you get them. Since you're getting these BA are you still going to order some? Or are you going to get the surprise thing?

I think I'm just going to get the surprise thing at least until the big 50x50 is done. The MAYBE more depending on if I have leftover from the surprise, idk yet.

So your going to get the 20 BA from the feed store, then order the surprise thing? Maybe you'll get some more BA in the surprise thingy???

Yeah he is. If he doesn't grow into a rooster I'll be surprised. He leads his girls around the brooder, food, water, and just has a basic Roo attitude already struts his stuff.

ETA: Thatd be cool, I'd be happily surprised.
