I presume you mean, as a treat? Offer them a little and see if they like it. I am often surprised by young birds- sometimes they aren't as excited about treats as we imagine they will be! Just make sure you don't offer them so much of something, that they don't eat their food. Balanced diet very important for growing and laying birds! Good luck!

you may have to wait a while since youngins arent as happy for treats as older chickens are.

Also if you feed them things other than the starter feed they need grit

Make sure they have access to grit. They won't be able to digest it very well if they don't have some grit.

i have been offering grit for a little over a week now since i have been giving them bread and watermellon. well i'm gonna go to the hardware store tomarrow and buy some and give it to them. they go CRAZY for bread.
