Hey guys,
All!! ?! I could find for lice & mite control at all the feed stores in San Antonio was Ivermectin 5% pour on in alcohol based blue liquid. Is there a safe dosage for my 3 month old RI's? I did pick up a .ml dropper.

Thank you! At what weekly intervals should I repeat the treatment?

I have a bantham that was given to me in very bad shape mites lice scally puffed up legs, bleeding legs.I've already given him a seven dust bath.

Have him separated from rest of the yard.

I only use it every 6 months (mostly for worming purposes), but if you have an infestation you can re-apply in 10 days.

Some folk will disagree with me but a little deet (OFF mosquito spray) on those legs wouldn't hurt and would also help kill the mites. Wearing latex gloves you can spray some off in the palm of your hand and spread on the legs (or spray directly on the legs if you're good at it).

Can`t dissagree with anything here. Anykind of oil, from WD40 to used motor oil will kill leg mites. The idea is to drown them. I think the residual affects of Ivomectin Pour On will last at least 3 weeks. It will not be neccesary to treat again that soon..........Pop
