hey, I'm new to raising chicks because I never have before my eggs have been in the incubator for 11 days now and I can't wait for them to hatch! and don't worry I've done my research, but I'm wondering if there is some food other than starter feed to give them that i would likey have at home, some say boil an egg and crush up little bits of the yolk and others say little tips of brocoly please give me some tips

You can't do better than a chick starter feed, fresh by mill date.
This, really.

Chicks need a balanced feed, and the professionals have it down to a science. There are several nutrients that are especially important to chicks, to help them grow properly in their first few weeks/months. You really can't hope to get these in homemade food, and certainly not for the same cost.

What you've listed can be thought of as treats, fed sparingly, after the chicks are about 2-3 weeks old.
