What is in my feed?

I am really upset with my local Rural King. The feed they have is terrible. There are always bags torn apart. Then there are bags piled up that have been taped back together. Sometimes you see mice running around. I don't trust it, but had to get a bag there because I ran out mid week. Anyway, I store all my feed in 55 gallon steel drums to keep stuff out of the feed. About a month after that bag, I started seeing bugs.... Now the barrel is infested with them. I stopped using it for a feed barrel. I finally got a picture. Looks like I got an adult, mid, and baby of the bug. I am thinking roach. Can someone confirm?

I was afraid I would be correct on that. Now does anyone know the best way to get rid of them? burn the barrel? haha

Take a box or container withholes big enough for theroaches but to small for thechickens; put a small plate or such filled with water and one with baking soda. The water will attract theroaches, they will eat the baking soda and then blow up and die because they can't pass gas.Oct 9, 2014
