What is my guinea doing?

I have 8 guineas of mixed sexes, I have noticed one that will run up under another guinea and and make a "cheaping" noise. Why is it doing that? Is some type of submissive thing they do? This is the first batch of guineas I have ever had and I have fallen in love with them. I love my guineas but I really want to understand them and learn about them. Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

It is part of the mating ritual. Mine run around an individual like they are hurt, cheeping and sometimes doing the typical Guinea chi chi call.

I noticed the same pair mating today. I do not know which was the male or the female doing the "I am hurt" thing.
