What is my new roo?

We got this guy a few days ago, and I'm wondering what everybody thinks he is. My guess is RIR. Also, I'd like to know what you think about his comb. It has no points on it. Is this natural, or has it been damaged?

The picture isn't the best, but hopefully you can see what you need to.

I think that's a rosecomb RIR.

hard to really tell about the comb... maybe it was dubbed? but I would guess RIR as well

It is kinda hard to tell what kind of comb it is. Can you get a closer shot? If it is a pea comb, he could be a Buckeye. But, to me, the comb looks like a rosecomb from that distance.

I can try to get a better picture tonight. I'm not familiar with Buckeyes, but I looked them up, and they're very similar to him. I can't really see the difference between the Buckeyes and Rhode Island Red. How can you tell?

Are his legs yellow? He looks mighty light colored for a RIR.

Looks like a dubbed RIR male.

I got a better picture of his comb today. Does it look like a dubbed single comb or a rose comb? He is lighter than our two RIR hens, but only a little bit. His tail is black with a green sheen.

That looks dubbed to me, but I am far from an expert on that! Definitely not a buckeye with that comb. I am gonna guess that its a dubbed RIR.

I agree on Rose comb RIR, but it looks to be hatchery quality or majorly sun-bleached.
