What is she mixed with

I am curious about my hen cocoa she is huge and very sweet much like a Jersey Giant but she has a smaller comb and she doesn’t lay jersey giant eggs. We got her from a school hatch and I saw an egg in the incubator for this year that looked identical to her eggs. What do you think she is mixed with?

Jerseys can lay eggs of varying shade of brown, so I wouldn't rule her out as being one, or a JG mix. She also could be an Australorp or Australorp mix. Many other possibilities.

I don’t remember who said it but someone said she had a modified pea comb.

It might have been me but it can be hard to tell when they are young. She has a single comb, though, very clear now.

Every one of us makes mistakes, unfortunately. You were right all along.

So we have eggs to a school to hatch and her chicks came out white some were black and two were white. This was my roo for reference.
