What is similar to Construction Sand??

Hello everyone,
I am looking for washed, construction sand for my run but can not find any in my area. So, my question is this: what is the most similar to it? I have called around to several places and they have bank sand, concrete sand and decomposed granite sand. That's all I've been able to find so far. Please Help!!

If you are going with sand, get the cheapest sand you can find. The chickens won't care in the least.
