What is sleep ??? Update

It has been 2 nights of no sleep. Something has been outside upsetting everyone. Everynight for the last 2 nights something has been out there and I have no idea what it is. My 4 dogs alert me when something is not right. Whatever it is they have not caught it yet either. We are surrounded by woods maybe another dog

It has me worried. What do I do? When I hear the dogs I go straight out the door to check. The chickens will not be hollering but my goats sure are hollering. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could you put a video camera or two out at night and see if they catch anything on it. Some of the newer ones have a night vision setting on there so you can take pictures and videos at night. There is also this thing you can buy that it supposed to keep some predators away, can't remember what it is called but it basically shoots random rays of light at night when there is movement. I can't think of anything else though. Hope either of those help. Good Luck

Sounds like you need better dogs!

They must not be pyreneese because they bark all night everynight but it is that bark that helps me sleep better.It really could be anything even other dogs they hear miles down the road.

Just talked to a neighbor. It was 1 little dog and 1 huge dog she said. They have been hanging at the edge of my property line and on her property. I hope they stay away. We do not have animal control in our county. Which is sad. Because we have so many unwanted and mistreated dogs here. That is how I got my 4. At least now I know what I am looking for.
