What is the best broody and mom

I need to start having chickens that hatch out eggs. So i need to find the best, most consistent and easiest to work with broody hen. Soooo what should i get

I have had excellent experiences with leghorns, as long as they arent production leghorns.

Cochins.. Absolutely the choice.. Silkies may be to passive to defend the babies... I will take a cochin every day of the week.... large or small.. both are fabulous.
