I use materials from Premier 1... their polywire and energizers are all good -- just make sure the energizer is powerful enough. I think you will need to see what is for sale in Australia. I have a Speedrite 1000 if that is a help... It delivers a substantial shock in my set up -- but my perimeter isn't that large, perhaps 800 linear feet. If you have a larger perimeter I would get a speedrite 2000 or even higher. You should assume at least two rotations around your perimeter unless you have a fence that can't be dug under. I have my metal fencing serve as part of the ground, so if an animal touches both the metal fencing and the electric wire, they get a big shock -- I know because I have done this accidentally. You can get any good polywire -- I got intellibraid twine PE 3.0. Thicker is slightly better, so next time I will probably splurge and get a thicker one.
