I have 2, two gallon buckets (one feeder, one waterer) that I will be hanging from a wooden bar inside the coop (my chicks are still in the brooder)..

The buckets only need to hang a few inches below the bar. Also, the buckets have flat plastic handles (no divot for a center hanger).

I know there must be an easy answer to this, so my buckets aren't constantly listing from side to side because of the handle, and I don't think I necessarily need chain to loop over the bar for only a few inches of hanging.

I will need to easily lift the buckets off whatever they are hanging from for refilling.

Any suggestions? Are there any sort of special bucket hangers?

Rather than hanging them, could you place them on a flat block underneath to raise them? Like a piece of plywood, or two :)

I need them to hang because I am using a nipple waterer and trigger feeder system.
