today i moved the roo to my auntie's house and i left the chickens with me! i have raised them since they were 1 day old they lived about 1 year and 2 months now after i moved him she starts crying ??? is this normal? will she stop crying...the chickens are now alone 2 of them and noo roo i think chickens can live without a rooster right??

They are certainly social animals and are most likely feeling the loss... if they were laying, they may stop for a bit.

I cry if I lost DW.

To make you feel better about this I will say they generally move on pretty fast. I have notice my hens do listen to a roo when he makes an annoucement so they may not feel as safe. Also I have seen this when my cousin lost her roo to a predator. I agree the eggs may be few for a while, the lest change gets them outta focus.

ooh thanks soo she will get over right? so i have another qoustion the other hen has been brooding for more that 21 days also is this normal? it has been like 2 weeks from the 21 days should i wait more??

Some breeds can set forever. Just make sure she has enough nutrients. They can really lose a lot of weight and health while setting.
