What is the Gender of my Muscovy duck?

Can anyone tell me the Gender of my Muscovy duck? I bought it and the man that sold it to me said it is a
female but I don’t kno. It’s big as u can see thru the picture standing next to a
Young male Mallard. My Muscovy at times hisses not always. It’s crest on top sometimes raises. Still confused about this one. HELP PLEASE.

Yes, but that could be an age thing, too.

My vote is also female, but the best way to tell is peeping.

Looks like a relatively young drake to me. Caruncle development would be normal for a young or non show line Muscovy drake.
