What is the longest that your pet chicken lived?

I've heard that the maximum lifespan of a chicken is 30 years! I would have never guessed that they live so long!

Just curious, what was the oldest chicken you have ever had?

I recently lost an Easter Egger that was at least 15 years old and a Dominique that was 12. Both were still laying though not every day.

The longest I've ever heard of a chicken surviving was eighteen years.

The oldest bird that I have kept is presently eight years old.
