What is the longest you have waited?

What is the longest you have waited, before seeing the blood vessels appear in the egg when candling.

i have eggs 6 days old and havnt seen any blood vessels yet.

should i discard them?

i dont know about ducks but i do know a few people that wont candle until the 12th day on chickens. it is usually around the 7th day for chicks.
