What is the nature of the Sussex breed ?

I would like to start breeding the Speckled Sussex breed and would like to know the nature of them and are they very aggressive towards kids or each other.

Absolutely one of my favorite breeds.

Very inquisitive, obviously intelligent, good layers, drop-dead gorgeous color. Mine was so friendly...gosh I miss her!

Sussex are generally very laid back & mellow.

I suppose there are always exceptions. Ideal smallholder's bird.
