What is the oldest chicken (hen or rooster--please specify) you've ever had?

Wow! Some of ya'll have better luck than me/mine! The longest we've had a rooster survive was about 2.5 years--most hens are gone in 3 (or sooner). Lots of predators here I guess. After my son lost his whole flock of about 50 hens n 2 batches of chicks, we had one rooster that survived 1.5 years all by his lonesome here. 8 years seems incredible to me!

Over 12 years now. Bantam cochin. Several others made it to/currently are 10+. Multiple breeds and sizes. Oldest male is 11 but I have one that I'm not sure on age, so he could be 11or 12
