What is the Public Message Feature?

On people's profile page there is a Public Message option. Where does that message post if you use it?

It posts right in your profile and anyone on the forum can read it when they look at your profile.

I never thought about it that way. We better keep our "Profile Page"checked. Anything could be there.

If it's not for everyone to see, "keep it secret, keep it safe," and send it in a PM.

If, on the other hand, you don't mind who sees it, you can post it on the Public Messages.

Sorry, this stuff is a little foreign to me. No cell phone, no face book. A public msg means it is osted for everyone to see on my profile page?? SO I should monitor that page ? Can I delete the information?
