What is the size of chick feed and chick grit?

I have to know the exact size of chick feed and grit because in store is not labelled with starter, grower, layer or finisher feed Also storekeeper don't know because he is a new one . I have to know what size feed or grit can be given to chicks.

They should have starter crumbles or All Flock crumbles…. If you can only find it in pellets, you can always throw a few handfuls in a food processor and break it down into tiny pieces. You should also buy them chick grit - it’s very fine almost like sand.

18 to 20% Protein is fine for egg laying breeds/types of chickens. GC
