I have no idea what breed or mix I ended up with here. They are big and love to perch high to my horror. Bumble foot reading now.

The hight or material of the roosts does not cause bumblefoot, so you can kick that fear to the curb. It's silly.
She should be laying already by the look of the comb and waddles. Or very, very soon.
Where did you get them?
I'd first guess Welsummer except for the White ears, so maybe brown leghorns?

Those chickens will jump 10 ft down they are big too. Thats why I was concerned with foot problems. They were a gift so I have no idea what they were supposed to be. I got 6 of them they are pretty cute.they will be 18 weeks in October. Thank you I will look up leghorns.

Ive had roosters have leg injuries from jumping of a two foot roost so they can injure themselves but it looks like it should already be laying

Isn’t it too “red” colored for brown leghorns? I thought they were usually more, well, brown hahah darker color. She looks a lot like a New Hampshire Red to me except for the white earlobes. Maybe NHR/Leghorn mix? Please keep us posted on what color they end up laying.

I will keep you posted on the egg color. I am destined to keep mutts I guess. My dogs cats and chickens are all mixed. I'm thinking of All American when I get asked about them😉 I think it sounds great.
