Had to restock on pine shavings today and of course I drove 30 minutes out of the way to the only feed store in the area selling chicks.
DH knew I couldn't come home empty-handed. It's an addiction, I'm sure you know. Lol.
Anyways, I picked up this little bantam that was in with some golden sebrights (which I already have). It looks very white in person with just the SLIGHTEST blue/grey tint to it (back, head stripe, around eyes) and the feathers growing out on its wings are a beautiful sky-blue. It has feathered legs. 4 toes. What looks like probably a single comb, but its still teeny tiny. Sometimes I think it has a muff, but sometimes I don't. If it does, it's barely-there.
I love these "what's-it?" puzzles and have tried figuring it out myself (was leaning towards splash Cochin??) before I came down with a killer migraine. So I'll let you lovely chicken-folk help me out with this one.
Cochin?? D'uccle?? Langshan?? Sump'n else?? Color?

ALSO, I picked up two of these little cuties. (This is just one, but besides a tiny bit more facial markings on one, they're identical.) They were labeled silver-laced wyandottes and that's what all the employees were calling them. Wyandotte, I believe. But they are gold-laced, amiright?
