What is this growing on my cinder blocks?

I have been slowly building and painting a coop for my ladies. But in the last week with all the rain, I have not. Now there is this stuff (mold, fungus, lichens???) growing on the cinder blocks under the coop.
Just wondering if anyone knows what it is and how to get rid of it. I’m in Georgia, so humid and hot.

It looks like some kind of lichen to me. The Wikipedia article on lichen doesn't show an exact match, but it's worth looking at. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lichen I suppose that much like moss, it will continue growing over the rest of the blocks, and maybe over the wood as well.
