I actually got to see one of my hens poop today. I’m pretty sure there are worms in it....long, white and wriggling around. I’m trying to attach a photo. Please let me know if you know what it is and what I can do. Thanks!

PS. It won’t let me load a picture

If the worms looked like this they are roundworms, common in chickens.

You can treat with Wazine, Valbazen, or Safeguard liquid, these are the most common wormers. Wazine is mixed in the water, Valbazen is direct dose to the bird at .5cc for a standard sized chicken (actual dosing is by weight - weight in lbs / 2.2 x 20mg / 113.6 - so a 6lb bird would be .48ml, round up to .5 for ease of measure) Safeguard liquid is .23ml per pound, again direct dosed to the bird. For Valbazen and Safeguard you dose twice, 10 days apart. I personally would treat the entire flock. The worm eggs are in and picked up from the soil, so reinfection is common, depending on your environment, you may have to worm a couple of times a year, or more, to keep them under control. If you can get a fecal test done in 4 to 6 months after treatment (unless you see symptoms sooner) to check for worm eggs that will help you determine how often you may need to treat. It's also a good idea to rotate wormers to reduce the chance of the worms building resistance.
