What is this hen?

I bought this hen today from a guy that has a black shoulder male, a india blue male and india blue hens in the same pen. Is there anyway to tell if she is split blackshoulder. She is a lot darker than the other india blue hens I have seen. I also notice her flight feathers are not the solid rust/orange color but speckled with black. Thanks for your imput.

I was wondering that myself, she must be a low % . I have know this gentleman for years and he has had the same birds for some time. He only has one pen. My wife told me our blackshoulder male who was alone needed a mate so I picker her up for $50.

Yep Spalding. Who knows she could be split to blackshoulder...I hope so cause you could really get nice chicks from her and your blackshoulder male. Spalding blackshoulder peahens look beautiful!

I hope she starts laying soon, she was in with a blackshoulder three year old at the place I got her too. Ive been talking to this guy a while but never needed an extra hen til my wife said the blackshoulder male needed a hen. Got my first midnight blackshoulder egg last night.
