is he/she a RIR?


They are all suppose to be RIR but this is the odd one out. Did it slip in ?

He or she is the little striped one.

Sometimes in RIR/production red chicks an odd chipmunk can slip in. If it's legs are yellow, it's probably just a chick fluff variation.

They came from Central Hatchery, they only have 3-4 breeds. The carry the larger RIR, the original "version" that was meaty but lays good. I was just wondering cause they don't have any other chicks that look like this. I would have to say that Central has some good chicks and good prices. I am really happy with the little buggers. Ordered 200 and they sent me 248, all are still alive at 1 week old too.

They do seem to have great prices. You have to mail in a check, right? I don't think you can use a CC. Did you get all pullets or st. run?

It looks a lot like my week old Welsummers....do they carry that breed?

Maybe this one knew a good home was in the box!!!
