What is this sound?

One of my fourteen week old chicks is making a really weird sound. It's just one sharp "bock" and she seems to make kind of a little head shake sometimes when she does it like a sneeze. I didn't have my phone with me when I shut them in tonight, so I don't have a good video, but here's Ring footage from their coop and if you forward to about 7:24:35, you'll hear it.

She did it several times while I was in there. She ate her pm oats treat with everyone else, so I know she's still eating at least something and I'm pretty sure I saw her eat some of their afternoon mash. I'm sorry if this is just a normal noise and I'm too inexperienced to know- we had an emergency with her as a chick and I tend to worry. Nobody has made this sound before. The closest I've ever heard is if they get pecked by someone, but she wasn't being touched. I didn't see any mess on her vent.

I am not experienced at all with guineas, but my chickens do this exact sound every time they sneeze (or either a loud, drawn-out sneezing sound). The sound can vary because every bird has their own unique voice, but it is their version of "achoo" after they sneeze.

Now I just realized, are you asking about one of the guineas making the noise or one of the chickens? I see only one chicken in the video so I just assumed you were asking about a guinea even though this is in the Chicken Behaviors section.

Thank you for telling me! She is a chicken. Should I be concerned that she's sneezing a bunch all the sudden?

There are five chickens- most were under the poop board shelf so not visible. I just have a mixed flock.

sometimes chickens get sneezing fits just like people, she could be a little allergic to something or gotten some feather dust in her nose. If it keeps happening for a day or two then it might be worth isolating her and seeing if she has something wrong, but if it's just once or even 2-3 sneezing fits, it's not necessarily a big deal.

Thank you. I'll keep a close eye on her

You are welcome! Like the person above said, chickens get sneezing fits. Mine do it all the time when they get dust from the feed in their nose. And they get into choking fits if they get food stuck in their throat.
