What is this thing that came out of my chicken? I think some sort of egg?

I would switch to an all-flock feed that's higher in protein, at least 20%, and keep oyster shell always available. All-flock does not contain the calcium that layer feed does so it's better for your non-laying birds like young, old, molting, males or whatever that don't need the calcium. Only laying hens will help themselves to the oyster shell.

@EggSighted4Life I cut it open last night and it looks like just a solid mass. I’m not sure if that means anything. It was pretty hardened, but it was also wrapped in a puppy pad for like 24 hours.

On the bright side of things, Blanche has perked up quite a bit! She is eating normally. Last night I gave her her regular food (not watered down).

As for her poop, I think it’s getting better. You can see the photo below. It’s not green anymore, it’s less watery, and more frequent, which is good. However there’s A LOT of gravel, debris, junk, whatever you want to call it mixed it. When I went to change her puppy pad yesterday after work almost the whole thing was covered. I’m wondering if this is normal following the clearing of an impacted crop? Not sure if I said this already, but it’s my first time really dealing with this as last time Blanche was ill, I didn’t really know what was going on.

As always, thank you so much!
