What is this?

The chicken that layed this is a new layer. It looks like the egg color has been scraped of so it may be pecking. Any thoughts? You cant really tell from the photo but you can see a little streak of it.

It's fine. The egg has a bloom over it naturally that protects it from bacteria entering through the shell and the bloom may have been etched on the way out.
