What is this?

this morning when I let my chickens out, I noticed this hanging off one of my Rhodies butts, she didn’t seem affected by it, and it just dropped off. It’s several inches long and kind of looks like the membrane egg lining. she seemed fine. In the afternoon I noticed her just standing in one place and she seemed unable to keep her eyes open. She wasnt hard to catch and I put her in a big tub inside and gave her some food, oatmeal & scrambled egg and some water. She ate all the food and drank water. I tried to research and find out what might be going on, but haven’t found anything. Yesterday she was fine. I should of take a picture of her, a Rhode Island Red, about 15 months old
