It showed up almost a week ago. It REALLY REALLY likes my white goose. It is very friendly as it doesn't get alarmed when I go around it and it comes right to me when I feed my geese.

I wasn't sure mine were muscovies when I got them last winter (the guy who gave them to me didn't know what kind they were) because there was no red showing around the eyes, but the feathers have fallen off through the summer, so the red is showing now. They are super sweet birds whose noise is more of a coo than a quack. I love mine.

Yup, yer gotyourself a male muscovy duck. Looks like a full grown example. Get yourself some girls so he wont be lonely and start raising them . They have good eggs, are awesome bug hunters and have very lean meat and dont need a pond(but appreciate it.)
