Hard boiled egg from a leghorn chicken when peeled it has this weird texture?

It's my grandparents chickens they eat normal feed but they get a lot of scraps they've never had an egg like this though
It's very very soft almost jello-like

Was just the one egg out of how many(?) boiled was like this?
Have you had eggs from them before, with the same results?
Did you happen to cut this one in half to see what the inside looked like?

If it's just a one off, it will be hard to tell 'why'.

I've had hardboiled eggs that were boiled "too soon" after being laid develop a weird, rubbery texture. (Too soon, in that case, was the same day that they were laid.)

Is it possible that it could be something similar in this case?
