Hello we are first time duck owners an we adopted these ducks in sept they will be 5 wks old on Friday an this ones feet or legs don't seem to be operating the same as the other ones I'm wondering if her jumping off the porch didn't do some major damage its been a couple weeks she eats an drinks an moves around but very handicapish is there hope or do I plump it up an eat it when it's time?? Plz anyone advice

I would tell you if I could... I have totally no experience with ducks. I have experience with dogs, cats and chickens, but I have never kept a duck one.

It's always closed like this an walks on the elbow/knee part it's as big as the other one so not malnutritioned or lose of appetite just not sure if we butcher it an the other is a drake will he bond with another female in the spring

If the duck is walking on her knee/elbow it’s possible that her foot or ankle is injured. Just my 2 cents.

I’ve heard of shank walking in broilers which happens when they get too heavy to support their own body weight and have to shuffle around on their shanks. Does she stretch her wing? It could be broken or bruised.

Really what is it being fed...Ducks have different dietary needs than Chickens....
