what is your favorite type of chicken?

i was thinkin bout sellin my silkies and getting some different chickens because i need a change so wat is everyones favorite chicken breeds ...oh and yea is anyone interested in some white silkies

I would love to have a variety of chickens of all different colors! I also personally have a soft spot for heritage breeds. Barred Rocks, Wyandottes, Delawares, Buff Orpingtons, Andalusian, Polish, RIRs, Buckeyes, Dorking and many others. Many of these breeds are great dual purpose, hardy birds.

I was raised with those kind of chickens but i took over from my dad and started going more exotict but i still love those homegrown kinds
