What is your oldest living flock member?

I have had chickens for 7 years now and I still have almost all the same original flock members that I started with (of course with additional members added).

How old is your oldest flock member (you can't count yourself :D )?
Wow! That's so cool! Do you have any security measures you'd wish to share? My mother always lost some here and there....and before long there were no original flock members left (she gave away her last remaining chickens) :( She started afresh with some bantams this year and so far so good. She's still had losses but the flock is thriving. She doesn't let them out to free-range. I know that free-ranging can be done properly and read on article on it on this site, but it seems to me a good dog is required for that and unsure where to find one or how to train one and besides they're not my chickens and I doubt she would want another animal, especially one that would likely have to be housed outside for losses. She lives next to a major road and though none of her chickens crossed it (save for a couple predator attacks that scared them to death and caused them to scatter) a dog might.

We started with two four years ago sadly neither are with us... but i have three 3 year olds who are the same age and spoiled rotten... i walk out in the yard they follow me around knowing eventually I will go to the building (where we store extra feed and give them Strachan or oats.. sometime corn or goat feed....
(Your chickens are well trained lol, or at least you are!)

My oldest hen is 9,5 years old and still laying beautiful light green eggs every other day. It is a black La Flèche x Araucana mix, a reliable and very experienced mother hen.

EDIT: Here she is with her chicks

My oldest bird was going to be 8 in spring 2020 but she passed in Jan of 2020. My current oldest is either my rooster, Solomon, who is either 6 or 7 (didn't know how old he was when we got him, but he definitely was mature) or my Specklee sussex hen who is 7 (?). Or maybe 6. Not exactly sure. :lau
