What is your ratio of pullets/ cockerels on an incubated/ broody clutch?

We hatched our first incubator clutch in January, 16/20 hatched and 2 passed after hatch.
Now at 2 months old we are looking at definite 4 cockerels, it’s a mixed flock but these 4 are leghorn mix so combs are well defined.
Not sure of the others yet, but was curious what most of the community has experienced on average.
We don’t cull our roosters, as our preference, and have bachelor coops for our flock to keep the Roos that aren’t actively nice to the ladies.

From everything I've read, it's generally a 50/50. You might have a batch with more pullets and you might have a batch with more cockerels. You just never know, but be prepared for half of each.

I've only incubated 3 times, first go was 2F/5M. Second time was 7F/2M. Not the largest sample group with the first 2 but I got 25 this last time and used my own eggs so hatch rate was significantly increased. The newest batch in only 5 days old so I can't say much about them other than the 9 sex linked babies are 3F/6M. I'm hoping the other 16 chicks don't follow the same ratio as them.

I typically hatch once with an incubator and three or four times with a broody hen each year. A total of around 40 to 45 chicks each year. I seldom get qan individual hatch that is right at 50-50 though I've had a few. Most hatches are 2/3 one sex. Which sex varies. Several times I've kept track for a 2-year period and it always averages out really close to 50-50. But any one individual hatch can be way off. Sometimes more boys, sometimes more girls.

Mine are always cockerels 🤣
That's about how the straight run chicks I bought from a local "breeder". I was ok with having to go with a straight run cause I was desperate and needed to get chicks under a broody that was at 21 days and I was having a HARD time finding any chicks, much less what I actually wanted. Plus I don't have a rooster (by choice) & was willing to consider keeping one of the inevitable ones if he had the right temperament. & maybe be I'd be able to avoid the whole crazy chick fiascos we're seeing this year in the future.

BUT looks like my BBS Orpingtons, which have turned out to be Marans, are 4 cockerels & 1 pullet! :he And it so happens the pullet is a cuckoo to boot, so not BBS! But she ought to be very pretty and I'm delighted with her. 🥰

We purchased 8 Sussex chicks a while back, turned out 5 Roos and 3 hens.
