What I've hatched today: & 10 more pipping...

The chick on the far right is a mystery. I thought it was one of my own eggs ( a gl sebright/brahma cross) but it wasn't due to hatch for 4-5 day. It was second to hatch.
The other three are BLRWs....I guess I didn't realize that they would have a variety in color- I'm stoked!!! I've still got 2 more in the bator along with 8 cochins that I desperately want...... I got some blacks from Scott, but out of 6 only 2 made it to lockdown. So sad. The others are blues.

I don't think I've ever seen a chick just pop out of their shell like she did. Then she tried and tried to get her hat off & had to rest her head between two eggs for a minute. The timing for the picture couldn't have been better.
I have no patience for hatching BTW----- I want them all out of their eggs NOW!!!
